Well, the rain moved out, at least for a day or so. Skies cleared and temps in the upper 40's. Hit my local park for about an hour/ hour and half to knock the dust off. Wasn't a great outing but between the puddles and the mud I was able to nab .72 in clad, 2 Quarters, 2 Dimes and 2 Pennies. Also, found a 1953 Wheat. Wasn't a total bust and it was great to get out and enjoy the nice weather. HH...

Congrats on the clad and wheat penny! I am longing for the ground to thaw so I can get out there, too.

Congrats on getting out, just went on my 1st outing of the year myself. got a pile of clad and two '41 wheats.

Great to see that you got a chance to shake Winter off a little, too! A little clad is never bad, and I'm always happy to see a Wheat on a hunt! More warm air and longer hunts are coming soon

Glad to hear you got out and you did pretty good. I was hunting, a farm yard, only found a dime and penny, not old.
