Worked from 6am-noon today then the rain started. About 4 the sun popped out so I headed out to a local school to get a little clad. I got $2.23 in an hour and a half.
My big surprise was a great relic much older than the coins I was finding.
Copper or brass watch fob!
Front has a building with the following words...Largest and Finest Shoe Builder in the World, The House of Stars, Roberts, Johnson & Rand, Shoe Co., St Louis.
The back has a large 5 point star and the words...Star Brand Shoes Are Better. Couldn't find exact fob, but company was in business from 1910-1950 I think.
If anybody has a watch fob resource for research let me know. Thanks.
