Default New guy just got a Minelab Safari

Well, I have never detected before but after reading about it I went ahead and got a new Safari!. I didn't want to spend too much on my first detector I guess if I like the hobby I can allways upgrade. I hope I havent bitten off more then I can chew with this model!. At least I hope it works better then the $39.99 Radio shack one.

You didn't get a middle of the line detector by going with the Safari. You have the latest in FBS technology, faster processor for quicker recovery. It's the little brother to the E-Trac but friendlier.

I don't see you upgrading for many years, so adequate your first detector is!
