Took a pic of all the jewelry I found in the last 4 months. The pendant with the amethyst stone was valued at $80. Amethyst was once believed to prevent intoxication. I do not drink much so I will have to get someone else to test it for me. Do not know if the locket is gold or not but the rest is junk. I'll keep saving it till my granddaughter is old enough to wear jewelry. Hopefully by then she will need a jewelry box the size of a moving trunk. :D

Nice amethyst pendant. I think it's great that you found so much jewelry, you're doing the right thing obviously. You just can't help if what you're finding turns out to be junk or real. I hope 2010 brings you a lot more of the good stuff versus the junk. Happy New Year!
 
Keep on swinging you have some nice finds there.. It adds up quick so make plans for a bigger jewery box.. Best of luck in 2010..
