Today's track..
Hunted my best spot today, the same place I have been finding most of my old gold this season, 5 hours... The wind was insane, the heaviest wind I have hunted in yet, with gusts over 60mph from what the 11:00 news reported... I was almost knocked over more than a few times... The weather forecast was slightly wrong on the timing of the wind direction change so I was facing on shore winds most of the hunt, which didn't allow me to cover the area I was hoping.. The temp inland was 58, on the lake it seemed like 33.. Still made out alright, even though I feel like I spent all day on rough water in a small boat... I'm sure when I lay down in bed it will still feel like I'm moving. ( I don't mind that part )
I was on a mission, sick of consolation silvers and that last skunk I had. I put on my waders and faced the November gales, with a sickness only to be cured by one thing, I decided to give it all I had today!
Ring 140- A junker, the second one of these I found here. I guess when you pull 90 or so rings off the same beach your going to get duplicates.. I also found duplicate G-Man rings here..
Ring 141- My first ever cameo ring and she was shining in my scoop! I knew I was better now even though its only 1.3 grams, 10K... Even a little bit of gold will cure the deepest ailment, and warm you up too...
Ring 142- My first silver signet ring ever, although there is no engraving on it still pretty happy about it. 3 gold signet rings have come off this beach as well.
Thanks for looking, good luck and stay warm all!
