I detected at the old high school this morning with one of my buddies. The grass is pretty high but for some strange reason they only mowed right against the fence line so I just detected the strip of grass. My finds are a 1914 Barber Dime that has seen better days, a weird looking piece of sterling that's not marked but passed the acid test. I have no clue what it was used for. I also found the usual clad, a junk ring and little heart top to a ring, a old shell casing and a tiny buckle. Ty for looking and HH!

Now that's a rough baber...

The sterling piece looks like a homemade latch to something? Cool, maybe you can find more of it?

Ty, it's just one school but it had many houses on the property at one time

Wow. That dime has seen better days. Poor thing reminds us the those zinc pennies we get.

The other piece looks like a bottle strange bottle opener.

Wow, what's up with the dime? But still a great find & the silver jewelry is unique!
