I.D. this four-legged beast

Found this while walking the woods in search of bottles. I think it's an old floor lamp base that maybe had a square hunk of marble on top. Diameter 10", threaded hole in middle is 1.5". I'm thinking of keeping this and re-purposing it. Whaddya think? Any ideas?

If it's an iron stove base I've got a bunch of broken pieces that i dug out of some woods recently. Maybe we can put them together and build a whole one! :lol:

With those rubber bumpers, I'm thinking a flower pot vase base maybe.

Those bumpers are what made me think lamp base with a square marble slab. And there's the hole where the cord exited also.

I am not sure but some more ideas might be a base for a butter churn or a sausage grrinder base. I like the idea of a floor lamp also
