Help ID'ing makers mark

I found a ring today stamped .925 with a makers mark GR with a circle around it. Can anyone help me identify it? The ring seems to be plated, but to me it seems weird to have a makers mark on a plated sterling silver ring. I'm figuring that the stone is CZ, but hopefully I am wrong :grin:

Thank you all. I'm going to keep looking into it. I want to take it to a jeweler to have them test the stone. But overall, a GREAT first find for me!! :D
 
I have tried looking up makers marks and never had any luck. Nice ring Missy! :yes:
 
I say it stands for Gold Ring.:jester: Sorry...Somebody had to make that joke! Otherwise I have no clue on the mark. Good luck with it!

Jewelr won't care about the stone or markers marks I had one he litterly throw it on a scale and said 50 bucks for it. Some only care about gold one store was like you pay me to remove the dimond then I'll pay you for the gold
