Dug out a little woods dump yesterday. Nothing older than the 50's, but I didn't expect it to be too old since it was in the cellar hole of an 1800's farm house. I don't need 1800's bottles (though I wouldn't complain if I found them!) to entertain me. It's kind of a cool glimpse into history from 60 years ago. In the mountain of food jars I pulled out, here's what I brought home. Kinda surprised that I didn't find a single marble (what with Mom throwing all of Johnny's toys away...)

What cool stuff! Even dumps as late as the 50s can have neat stuff as you found out. Once I dug a Flash Gordon raygun toy but I sold it, wish I hadn't.

What does that jar with the horse and rider say? Can't say I've seen that one.

It reads "Boot Creme by Cavalier" on the sides with horses between each word and "Cavalier Baltimore" on the bottom. Still had blue cream in it under the rusty cap. I can't find any info on the Thompson bottle in my googling.....any ideas?

That Boot Cream is pretty cool.
I'm not familiar with the Thompson bottle but I'd guess some kind of medicine or chemical, judging by the shape. Maybe some of our Canadian friends know?:?:
