Had to try it after work even though there was not much light left... Glad i did :yes:

Things are still frozen in most places but not that cold out.
Here's The spot...

This was the first good sound, deep black soil, not sure, copper like.

Did I say COPPER...?

When I couldn't see well enough to recover the tent stake, I called it good.

think the round bent item may be a part that reins went through on a wagon.

This Lovely whistled from about 8'' down... was extra careful digging 'cuase i thought it sounded "right"...

Well, She's tender, so I think i'll call it good!
1851! Decent shape compared to the 6 other coppers that have come from this field

NOTHING SOUNDS BETTER THAN A 1/2 INCH PIECE OF 1/2 INCH COPPER TUBING WITH A FLARE ON ONE END.... Really, i dont know why i find so many of these, But man they sound gooooood.
