Hey guys and girls. I am seriously thinking of getting the new NOX, but am really not sure which one I should get. The type of detecting I do is mainly parks and fields, as well as some beach detecting when I am on holiday. I don't do any gold prospecting at all.
At the moment I have a Minelab Xterra705, an ATPro and a PI machine for the beach (CScope CS4PI). The beach hunting is nearly exclusively in the wet sand or ankle/knee deep water, so I will need to be sure that the NOX can handle that.
I will probably sell the 705 and my CS4PI to help finance the purchase of the NOX.
So my question is......Which one should I go for? I know the 800 comes with wireless headphones where the 600 doesn't, but was wondering for the type of detecting I do, is i worth going all out for the 800 or will the 600 be good enough. Will I be doing myself a disservice going for the 600 when I could probably afford the 800? And are the wired headphones waterproof?
There is so much info on these two detectors now that it actually gets a bit confusing trying to wade through it all
Thanks for the help
