do you hold your coil close to the ground or up off the ground when you Noise Cancel? Also, do you just press and release the button quickly or do you hold the button for any length of time?
Hold it about 18" above the ground surface, parallel to the ground. Then just press and release the button, and hold the coil steady until you hear the tone sequence that signifies that it's finished, and you're ready to go. It takes about 20sec.
That's interesting. I read where it stated to keep the coil on the ground when noise cancelling since that's where it will be when detecting. Does it make a big deal of difference?
