So I was water detecting and had my Pro Find 35 fall out of its pouch into the water and didn't notice for a few minutes it was dragging behind me in the water. I discovered it was behind me because it was ringing non-stop.

It is SUPPOSED TO BE WATERPROOF to 10 feet!!!

Instead I found myself opening the battery cap and seeing water pour out of the pinpointer.

Question, anyone else had a ProFind 35 fail??

Any luck with Minelab to get it replaced?

Going to ask other water detectorists the same question.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't had the Pro-Find 35 (yet), but my experience with Minelab has been excellent. Give them a call and they'll take care of you.

Ive had two die of water intrusion. ML took care of one no questions asked. My local dealer took care of the second as it happened within days of purchase. Both split at the molded seam due to the excessive force it took to screw the caps on the early ones.

I had mine fail awhile ago. It just would not stop falsing. Called ML, they issued a return shipping label. Shipped back to them and replaced it within a week+. Great service!
