I detected a local bskt ball court and thought I was digging a quarter with a 30 on the Equinox. Pulled out this plated junk.

I bet you were happy for a minute at least. That shine would have me fooled for that long anyway.
 
I know the feeling MA, That same thing happened to me yesterday when I dug this up. We need to train our brain to believe brass, brass, brass every time we dig up something like that. then when we know for sure it's the good stuff!......then we can go.....NO WAY!! NO WAY!!:laughing:
