Got up early this morning and decided to go to a local state park. Not to detect, but to take some pictures of Gods natural treasures.
This park is located about 40 miles NE of Charlotte NC. I live at the bottom of this park about 10 min from my house.
Hope you enjoy the pics!!
This little slice of Heaven is called Morrow Mountain State Park.

Nice pics. I used to love going to the Smokies when I was younger. My grandparents took us camping every summer. We stayed at Black Mountain Campground not too far from Mount Mitchell. Beautiful country up there, I sure do miss it.

You said new camera but didn't say what camera you have.

Those are really nice pictures I love taking pictures like that . Camera is working great takes great pictures . Congrats

Bought a Nilon D3000.
A little more than the wife wanted me to spend.

I've checked out the D5000, I would love to get a digital SLR camera one of these days. Unfortunately, the camera is the least expensive part of the hobby. Lenses can get into the thousands of dollars range.

Great pics, makes me want to go back to the Smokies.
