Finally got out to this house that I've been after for at least a year. Beautiful day, soil was great, finds were so-so. About 25 minutes into the hunt I get the silver rosie-1950, and very shortly after I get a wheatie and buffalo nickle. Somewhere along the line I scored 2 more wheaties. I was very surprised that there not more old coins, the gentlemen (very easy on the eyes ) told me the house was built around 1824. So maybe what ever is there, is really deep, I don't know. But I did find a couple of old half horse shoes along with an old rat tail file, 2 very worn hoes etc. He told me I was more than welcome to finish up on the back yard....I think I will Any ideas on the "silver" thing?
