Days are shorter and workin ten hour days....i wanted to get some good light on my detector to try some nite hunting, so this is what i came up with. Its my first mock-up and i have already redesigned the bracket.....I found this great led 1/2/3 way light, but the pictures do not do it justice though.....it has great coverage on the coil and a decent radius around it and you can also turn on the foward light like a headlight to see out in front of you....thanks for looking!
HH!

Great idea!!! I had kinda the same thing in mind. I used a 1" double hose separator. Snaps right on the shaft & then the 3" 9LED snaps right in the second spot.

Nice! It does work pretty good, I did move it a little further up towards the control.... Seems to work well...
HH!!!!

Works excellent! It's tight, and don't move around. Hardly adds any wgt. And best of all I can take it off in a snap, if light is needed else where. HH
