Low tide hunt again, digging among the rocks & pebbles.
Scored one of my nicest top 3 rings ever .. beautiful 18ct ring with a large Sapphire, weight 7.1 grams. The way the settings are protecting the sapphire might indicate it's the real deal.

Judging by the setting I'm thinking around 1920-1930'ish. Also, the patina & wear on it would indicate it's been down there for quite a few decades.

I haven't polished it, just a wash in warm soapy water .. just look at the colour of the gold!

To say I'm over the moon would be an understatement!

That is Stunning !!

agree with you on the way it is surrounded I have found that with Gems , typically if it is real it is surrounded by at least 6 fasteners as opposed to 4 on a typical fake CZ ring.. your stone was designed to stay in there for sure.

The color of both the Stone and Gold are phenomenal !!!!!

WOW! What a simply beautiful ring design! Of course the large, high grade blue sapphire is a naturally spectacular wonder, but the high karat gold artwork showcasing that gem is a masterpiece. I especially like the bold festooning, and the solidity of it all.
Congratulations on the stunner!
