My friends wife has one, and it's a super machine for the money.
Weather proof and runs forever on 2xAAs!

I bought a F44 as my starter machine...I am still new to all of this. I really like the F44. It is super light, 2AA batteries, Weatherproof and easy to learn. I bought the optional 11" DD coil, which was a great investment. The IDs are pretty good, but get a little bouncy on deeper targets. I really like the detector.
