I have been working on a few ideas about the battery pods and will post the results in a few weeks.

At the moment I am trying to find out at what voltage will the Excal give a low battery notice (churping, alarm)?

Also, what is the Ma rating of a new OEM excal battery?

Thanks,
Chuck

I've seen them start at 12.1 down to 11.5, and has alot to do with the battery and the load it can handle. My R & B EX3000 is still going strong at 11.5..

I believe stock batteries start around 11.7/11.5

Not sure about the ma of the stock battery.

1000mah on the xcal ll and 700 on the blue. Hars to determine unless under load..... which I believe is 10.5..... but like Joe said with a meter it would likely read 11 to 12 dcv.

I actually did a battery test yesterday on my Excal. I tried the rechargeable Eneloops that I have in my Deleon. It lasted about 9 hours before the battery started that God awful low battery squawk. I read the voltage with a meter and I believe it was close to Dew's stated 10.5.
