I detected the basement of our apartment building, built in 1901.
It's so full of iron, it's impossible to locate anything else.

Found a rosary,1975 Lincoln, cheap gold plated R, and cards.
Most were surface finds. Just the penny and R were dug.
The rosary has Italy on it but no numbers.

That's the only way in. They are quite scary to walk on.

I did a lot of detecting with just the pin pointer. Trying to get through the shallow stuff. I noticed it is very wet ground and smells moldy. My throat was sore after being down there too long. So kicking up too much dirt may be unhealthy. I still can't get the mold smell out of my nose. I just wanted to check it out and my curiosity has been satisfied.
