Nox hittin nickels

Got a nice long hunt in today at my most productive park. I'm starting to get comfortable with the Nox. Today I hit the most nickels I've ever dug in one hunt...16 including 2 buffs. In my ground modern pulltabs come in at 13/14 whereas nickels come in at 12/13. I did notice that a clipped modern tab will also ring in at 12/13. The 2 buffalos came in at 11/12. Also got 3 wheaties. Deepest coin was around 8" and had good ID. The areas I hit today have been hit by me many times before with my F70 and my tesoros. I did get approximately 65 cent in clad out of one area that I had never detected before. Did find some junk jewelry and pendants, but no silver or gold. Was really hoping for a ring, but it didn't happen :no:

It hits those mid tones HARD. I had to notch them out yesterday hunting a school yard because the eraser tops were in that same range.

When I said nickels hit at 12/ 13. What I really should have said was that the numbers bounced evenly between 12 an 13 on most anyways. I don't think I had one nickel come in at a solid 13.

Mostly park2. If I got in a REALLY trashy area I upped the recovery to 7 or 8. I did run field2 for a short time and will be running it more as it seems to hit coins hard and seemed a little quieter than park2. I mostly keep the sense at 20, but did bump it up to 21-23 at times. I'm still very young on this machine and doing some experimenting.

man that's alot of targets! Were you digging it all? That's pretty much what I do with the Mojave.
