Been doing tons or research but not much luck on finding answers. I was wondering if there was any prospectors in va? Im looking to pan but need some help theres a creek by my house that i have started to pan so i could get the hang of it. But dont know where to look beyond that. Im sure i can find gold other places that people arent panning any thoughts?
 
oh yea theres gold in VA. we got gold here in PA...you gotta go to the mountians of large streams to find any...pan the bends and look for black sand..
 
Thanks guys sad part is i do not live near any mountains few creeks here any chance there would be gold? Im just east of the gold plate
 
Gold is where you find it :D


Gold can turn up anywhere , even places previosly thought to have none. Keep at it , because you will get better at it with practice. Check out the GPAA forum , you dont need to be a GPAA member to join the forum and you will find some people that can answer the questions about your area.
