Being let down now a few times with headphones, so I thought enoughs
enough!
Popped along to my local boot ( trunk ) sale, and bought 3 sets of doner h/phones and a set of ear defenders ( total cost ?2 ( $4 ).
Decided on the phillips ones with the mylar ( wont rot! ) speakers in, removed them plus backing. Cut out the insides of the e/defenders to fit. Fitted a nice curly lead plus LARGE jack ( so no adaptor needed ) added a foam strip to the headband.soldered everything up. Low and behold ... I now have great phones with these added benifits....A lot less background noise ( well they are ear defenders! ) Better quality speakers ( as fitted to the shop ones, costing a lot more ),Easy access ( 2 screws per cup...may add a volume later )Tougher construction, etc
Have tried them with my machine and the do seem a lot more sensitive than my others ( I have about 6 pairs!! )
So there you go, give it try.
Sorry about the wrong dates on photos ( forgot to reset it )
Booker may like these as I think they will match his ace!!! ( or your ace)
