Sterling ?????

For the life of me I can't make out the word on this medal after "Sterling." This is from the back of a St Christopher medal I found yesterday. Any thoughts?

I see STZRLIES SBEEB and a small round mark of some sort.

Huh! The first word clearly looks like "sterling" to me. Based on how it came out of the ground I'm sure it's silver.

Maybe the second word is the maker/brand?

I still can't get sterling out of that first word! Could be the camera angle I guess? Second is most likely the maker's mark. What do you think the second set of letters is?? The RELB I'm pretty sure of, could be a S or possibly a C for the first letter?

The words are Sterling Creed.

Creed was a poopular maker of religious medals. I have found hundreds. Creed also makes them out of other metals but this is for sure sterling.

it clearly says Sterling, I wouldnt have Guessed the ''CREED'' but after it was pointed out it is plain as day .....Nice find
