Good hunt!
I'd be interested in hearing what you have to say about differences between the two coils. I'm thinking of getting the 5x8.
Thanks,
John

Great finds, congrats!! Were those finds deeper or why do you suppose you got them with the stock and not 5x8?

..... usually swing the 5x8, because around old houses there is a lot, i mean a lot of trash targets. its def lighter and if u plan on bein out for some time its just easier swingin! i pinpoint just fine with both, but it covers more area and sees a little wider! I just hunted the same areas around a two acre yard a few times with the 5x8, got some good results and decided to see if the stock would sniff anything out that i might have missed! everthing i have found has been at different depths with both coils....both find good targets and bad targets......

Sweet finds man! That buff is in incredible shape.
