Default Tide Charting Website - pretty cool!

Hi y'all being a new PI user, I assume I will want to look at going into the water at the lowest tide possible... to that end I have looked at multiple websites for tide info and found this one to be the clearest one I have seen yet. If there's a better one out there, please let me know!

yeah, that looks like a great site!
the one i've been using, you just type in the name of the place and it'll give the tide table for the whole calender year. of course, as the year goes on, you have to scroll more and more.

That is a cool site 007. But I had heard that this info could change with storms occurring, not the times necessarily but the +/- amounts. So I had heard only to trust a couple weeks to a month info, any thoughts on that? Was I told wrong?

The phase and position of the moon and sun has the greatest effect. Wind velocity and direction have an impact which can be substantial depending on velocity and timing. Use your tide chart in conjunction with the latest NOAA forecast

Het Big Dog! Here's a pretty cool site...in addition to the tide charts, it gives a prediction of wave activity for the area you choose, which is pretty important if you're going to be out there wading!

Ya know, now I'm confused. I looked at all the sites posted and a couple had different high/low tide times. One was like 3:23 on a day I looked at and another one was 5:03 and the rest were like 3:30 for low tide. Any ideas why the difference? Was I looking at them cross eyed?

Same exact location? Even a few miles can make a big difference in time.

Here is the one I like no matter what state I am in it is easy to find out tide times

http://www.fintalk.com/saltwater-tid.../tide_map.html

Click on a state to see the tide stations from that state.
When the list appears find and click on the region closest to your fishing area.
When the tide tables appear select from the menu for what dates date and how many days you need tidal predictions for.
Default is already set to 4 days from todays date but you may get tide predictions for up to 10 days at a time, weeks, months, or even years in advance.
Not for navigation.
