pimlico race track maryland

I don't have any specific info on it, but the infield should be loaded with coins, jewelry, etc. When you have 100,000 people (Preakness Day) on a grass surface, most of them drunk, and spending money, it would be a metal detector's dream. The track belongs to the Maryland Jockey Club. The day after the Preakness each year, they hire a clean-up crew and there is always a news story about valuables, wallets, paper money, etc. found in the grass along with tons of trash, but I don't remember any mention of MDing. I don't think there is any racing there until spring. I wonder if any MD club has already been there?
