Hi all , anyone ever plug the shaft of an ACE 250? I'm thinking silicone caulk ? Any other ideas? There's gotta be some way to prevent the water from backing into the control housing? Huh?
Ideas for plugging ACE 250 shaft to prevent water etc...

I think you'd be much better off taking the control box off the shaft and maybe belt mounting it or something... I can't remember how long the coil wire is on an ace though...

Yeh I've been thinking about putting a belt loop on mine.

Cork from a wine bottle kept mine dry for a year.push it up the inside where the shaft seperates.

Great Stuff expanding foam inside the shaft and then use something like silicone over that to seal it in.
