Over the last few weekends I used my Deus at two Jr. Highs and a park. The men's wedding band, the chrome plated ring, and the St. Christopher where found at one of the school softball fields. The gilded ring, rosie, and the 46 nickel I found this morning at the other Jr. High which was built in the 20's. While the 43 penny and the Netherlands five cent coin where found in a park last weekend.

Thanks for looking.

I do live in an arid climate and the 43s are zinc coated not just steel...I don't know the answer to this mystery. Just like I cannot explain the contrasting level of corrosion to these pair of finds in my area.

Thanks for looking

Nice finds.I have a Netherlands nickel from last summer. The war penny looks like it was shot with a BB or pellet gun ?

I thought that too. The obverse has a perfect indentation like it was hit with a BB; it had to be a powerful rifle.
