Stopped back over at the pool this a.m. and the guys had already been there since 6. I'm like dang wish I had known I would have been right there beside them. Anyhow I get after it and I'm not finding a whole lot..like I said I've pounded this place hard. I finally started to ignore the pennies, I just get to a point where okay enough already. I finally dig the wheatie and I was like cool something I missed. Jump over to the "noisy" side (A lot of EMI) and find the 2 quarters and of course a few more pennies. It was this side I found the war nickle because I remember telling myself "wow been in the ground for awhile and it still has some shine". I don't normally wear my glasses hunting so I had know idea what it was other than a nickle. I finally call it quits, lock up the gate and mosey on home. Husband asks how I did.."I'm like nothing special other than a '58 wheat, my birth year". So I get to cleaning the coins, I take them out and start putting them on the cloth, you'd thought I'd won the lottery...lol.!! Then it struck me..I remember thinking ..boy it would be nice to pull a war nickle out of here again. They ring up weird so you either dig everything or give up the chance of finding them. Glad I'm a sucker for weird signals. HH everyone!!
