I have finally decided on a Garrett AT Pro for my first detector!! I have a few quote requests out for the detector, a Lesche, and a Pro Pointer. Hopefully they get back to me soon and I can get this detector on its way to my house! I can't wait...

Thank you by the way, everyone, for all the different insight into different detectors and the differences between them, as I have used a lot of information from here in making my decision!!

the best advice i can give anyone purchasing a new machine is to contact 3 or 4 sponsors for a price, then call new england detectors and they will beat everyones deal
