Good story, although they called the hero a "metal detector". I would think gold rings are not going to be carried very far by a tornado, if they are not inside a box or dresser drawer. Thanks for posting.

If you have ever seen the aftermath of a tornado, I'm surprised that they were found. From trees stripped of all of their limbs to houses with nothing left but a cement slab, items could be miles away from where they were to begin with.
