Got out with the nephew to help get some detecting time with his new Pro.
We were working this older baseball field and it's edges.
All we picked up was some newer clad and I got this flat button with a flower.
Solid non-wavering 69 signal down about 5 inches. Broken shank and a little damaged, but I'll take it. Any guess on an age?

I love finding buttons. Many coins look the same, but you rarely find buttons that look alike.

Great find Dave! She looks pretty darn old to me! Congrats!

Thank you.
Could be 18th century by the look of the manufacturing process. Still a real unexpected find from a 1920's ball field. I never dug or remember seeing a signal like this one either.
