Nope I’m not a mailman! Good thing too because “dark of night” scares me.
BUT I am a beephead and in spite of the cold and rain we had today I couldn’t resist sneaking away for a hunt.
And what a hunt!
Found a deserted site of an old club. Not sure what kind of club but the former owners left some things behind.
First of allI found 5 coin spills. Nothing old but the spills ranged from 3 dimes to 23 coins ( dimes and pennies and a single quarter).
But then I found these items.
The first two were 6 inches apart. Initially I thought pocket watch, then make up compact but after a little scrubbing I have no idea what it is. The dancing figures may be Greek or Hungarian or from another country in that region. It looks like something is embossed into the glass but I can’t read it. ( the center figure reminds me of The Bat Signal summoning Batman...) The inside of the lid sort of looks like a cracked mirror.
Any ideas?
