But it still is flowing, tho not as much as His Majesty wishes....but who does not wish for the super box?? HA HA
This week was interesting. Picked up the halves with no problem at the bank, other than having to deal with a teller-in-training, but she is learning and KT was in no rush.
Ripped the boxes and finished the hunt before the end of the first quarter of Thursday night football...Hate to admit it but KT was pulling for Houston and as typical for His Favorite teams, they fell flat on their collective faces! LOL
Anywho, here is the hunt:
Box 1 - 1 40%er Ken and 4 NIFCs.
Box 2 - zip, de nada, el bombo
Box 3 - 1 40%er Ken and 2 NIFCs
Box 4 - 2 NIFCs
Box 5 - 8 NIFCs, including 2 nice clean 2015 Kens!
Total - 2 40%er Kens, and 16 NIFCs....not very impressive but it kept the silver streak alive!
What was interesting was the dump of the coins this morning. Arrived at the bank around 9:30 and started the dump. About $600 into the dump the machine stops and says, ask for the attendant on the digital screen. So KT goes to the jr. Bank Manager and he says, So, you broke the machine again?? Alluding to problems with the machine that KT had 2 weeks ago. KT replied, no, I did not break it, but it did stop working and is asking for YOU! HA HA
Well, this particular machine does not dump the coins into individual sacks but into a giant square steel box, and as in the previous situation, the box was full. So there was a minor back up in the coin chute feeding the machine, because it did not shut off quickly...KT understands it supposedly has a weight trigger point, but it often does this type of jam up and then says its full! HA HA
Well, as the guard and the jr. Bank Manager roll the full box away, KT looks down at the reject chute and LO! It is full of a variety of coins! So KT scoops them up and puts them in His Royal Pocket. KT has seen in the past, these two bank people take coins from the reject chute and toss them in a nearby trash can, so this did not happen today. Anyway, they bring the new box, install it and everything runs fine for the rest of KT's dump. KT cashes in His Royal Receipts and heads back to the Castle. After arriving at the Royal Abode, KT empties His Pocket and finds: 7 Rosies (two were bent), 13 pennies (and 4 corroded zincolns, and 7 Canadian dimes (two were bent), 2 Cayman Island 5 cent pieces and a single 1960 10 Centavo Philippines coin...looked like silver but just a composite coin...anyway, there was 83 cents US overage, as KT tossed the rotten zincolns, and coins to add to the Canadian collection..as well as some additional new country coins for KT's foreign collection. Always fun to see something different.
Enjoy the pics...only 2 pics this week.
