Dont even have my detector yet! :D Lol!!

I couldn't stand it. I am excited to get this hunt going. I am waiting on someone to get back in the state from the upcoming holiday. I am trading my shotgun for a brand new, unopened x-terra 705 gold pack and a minelab 25 pin pointer.

Here is what I decided on for a digger. I mainly went with this one because of the multiple uses I can get out of it, not just for detecting. I didnt want to spend just as much for a small handheld digger.

Only 9 left in the country, I swear! I been looking ALL over for a cheaper price, doesnt exist. I did save a couple bucks ordering straight from the vendors website http://shop.gssgear.com/mobile/gerber-folding-spade-with-sheath-05940-p565.aspx or you can get it from amazon. This tool received perfect reviews!! I love how you can also lock the shovel at 90degs to create a pick/hoe like tool. Its gonna work out great! I also love how a tough nylon sheath is also included so I can secure it while hunting!

Anyway, thought I'd share my very first purchase towards yet another new hobby! :) Wife definitely isnt thrilled.

I love Gerber. Quite a bit of coin for a folding shovel, but it will treat you well, for sure.

I felt the exact same way about the cost. But after comparing it to the sampson, lesche and other tools I was finding. This shovel is priced accordingly. Plus, I can use this for a whole lot more things than just mining.
