Other hobbies?

I always had a rifle when I lived in the states, but recently I have been enjoying a nice Kral 22 cal air rifle I purchased. After years away from target shooting I am happy with my little 25 meter 2 inch groups, but improving every time as I remember how it's done...

Recently, I like making gallons of hooch from fruit I grow, like peaches and red raspberries. I give most of it away. I also have several old AMX's that I like to tinker with. Snowmobiling too.

besides detecting. I do a little gold prospecting and hunting. At the moment I'm limited to a little detecting due to degenerative disc disease in my neck and weakness in my left arm... only low impact activities for now.

I enjoy Golfing, Sports, Fishing, Hunting, Archery, Yo-Yoing, Coin Collecting, Computer Programming, Biking, Making things, Playing Musical Instruments, Playing with Pets (German Shepherd & 8 Guinea Fowl), & also a lot of outdoor things. :D

Always wanted a Turquoise ring but couldn't afford one. My Dad said make your own. He wasn't serious but I did and being a self taught Silversmith turned into a job for over thirty years. I'm retired now and I guess my main hobby is knife collecting as well as a few other things. I got another new one yesterday.

I have fun being creative. For me, this includes writing, drawing, and crafts. I also enjoy singing (particularly hymns), playing instruments, reading, & photography. My outdoor hobbies mainly consist of golfing, biking, fishing, and of course, metal detecting.

Did you make the guitar?

No, that is a 1928 National tricone square neck, made of German silver...

It was designed and developed right before electric instruments.. Very interesting history about the startup of the National company..

Hey, WOM! You doing solid fuels, or liquids? I suppose you have the FAA and NASA on speed dial.
I don't do it myself, but did do a fair bit of low altitude, solid fuel Estes stuff back in the early 70's as a kid. T'was fun, but had to grow up and do adult things.

Just a few...

Also, detecting, is something I've found fun to do when I'm not ice fishing...

Ice Scratcher, I've never seen a "boat" like the one in your photo. Is that a self-made propulsion unit... with a saw blade for traction on ice?
It looks kinda Water-World-ishly clever and dangerous should you leave an arm dangling carelessly. Also :wow2: very cool.

And now I know where the name Ice-Scratcher came from

Interesting to hear about model rocketry. It is one of my hobbies, but I have not worked with it for awhile.

My favorite hobbies are collecting stamps, coins, and comic books from the 1940's to the mid 1970's.

Too many hobbies

I like fishing, ice fishing, fly fishing, tying flies, drones, photography, metal detecting, playing with n scale trains, playing poker, collecting coins and casino chips, gardening, and bbqing. Most of all, I like hanging out with my 3 year old!

Work, work work, but when I'm not working, or metal detecting, I have a woodshop. Use to love to fish and hunt and shoot, just don't have time for those too.

If the Mrs is around we head out on the ATV trails.
