A buddy and I hit Fernandina Beach today. Rough surf, nasty winds and blowing sand made hunting tough. Steve stayed on the beach and found a few coins. I found a few bottlecaps, some wire, a single penny

and.........

Something more precious than silver.....

gold.....

or even platinum.

And more valuable than diamonds.....

emeralds......

and rubies.


I found ANGELINA's heart!!!!!

That is one tough beach. I have hunted Fern many times. It was good about 4 years ago but then the slope got steep. After that all the beaches there were poor. There is a lot down deep though. A lot of copper sheet and spikes from wrecks also. I would bet there are some reales to be found too but I have not found any myself. I moved from that area a couple years ago. Hopefully the beach will come back around again for you. HH
