Got a Teknetics G2+ delivered yesterday, thanks to Craig at showmetreasure

After doing a residential job today I asked the owner if I could detect his property,he said go ahead, house was built in 1915.Unboxed the G2+ on the spot ,put it together, ground balanced like I saw in the videos and set tone break at 70.
Five feet in a get a steady 84 I think it was,pop a plug and 5 inches down lays the Barber dime.Couldnt believe the first target with my new machine was a old barber.
Hunted about 15 more minutes, and packed it up,but I’m goin back cause it’s a huge yard.Ive never used a goldbug or G2+ so it’s gonna be a learning experience with a high frequency machine.I like it so far but it’s way different than the Etrac,I can see that already.

Oh yea, almost forgot about my button I found, had it in some water soaking. Not much on buttons, don’t know what it is but it’s cool looking.

Not a bad way to wrap up the work day. Nothing like breaking in a new machine with some silver right off the bat too. Congrats!

Wow! That was a great intro by the G2! Congrats on the 1800s silver!

Nice way to get her started Tom! You now have light and fast next to your heavy and deep. It would suffice to say you have it covered!

Yes,I think I finally got it covered...The Visual ID on the G2+ is just so accurate, and I’ve heard of machines being surgical in iron, this machine really is,I’m surprised you never hear much about it.Its way more than a relic machine, with the tompne break adjusted it’s a great silver hunter,
