Hit the beach with Buellride this morning.
And we both found silver! :clapping:

A worn out merc and a 63 Rosie were my best finds. Paul did better than that so look for his post . Anybody know what this lead "Jack Daniels whiskey " thing is? Also found a nice chunk of petrified wood and a bunch of fishing junk. HH!

Awesome Kev! Great to be both reward for our troubles....:D

Looking forward to the next hunt...but just know that I am itching to get under the water sooner than later:yes:

Always nice to have someone to hunt with !! Congrats on your silvers. The Jack Daniels thing is cool but not sure what it is.

Nice job :) whats the plan with the wood? Paperweight? :) was just googling to see if petrified wood can be turned on a lathe ;)

I'm just going to clean it thoroughly and display it somewhere. Maybe a clear coat to make the detail pop out.
Doubt it would survive a lathe, probably shatter while being worked. :wow:

Yea from what I read you'd need like stone cutting gouges and there is a lot of risk of it shattering. Not worth it for a pen, your idea sounds better.
