Hostess celebrates 100 years

I used to like such sweets way too much as a kid, but now when I see all the unnatural stuff they put in them it makes it very easy to resist them

Here is just one example:

What's Really In A Twinkie?

https://www.foodmatters.com/article/whats-really-in-a-twinkie

Here is just a couple quotes from the above article:

"A single Twinkie contains 37 ingredients, but only 5 of them are ‘recognizable’. Flour. Egg. Water. Sugar. Salt."

"Wholefood ingredients have been replaced by chemical concoctions. For example, less egg has been used, as they’ve been replaced by monoglycerides and diglycerides - chemicals to bind fats and water-based ingredients, and extend the shelf life of the product."

(wait till you read the rest of the article )

For a while from the 2012 bankruptcy till they were bought and production started up again in 2013 there were no twinkies.
These are now known as the dark ages.

I am actually a HUGE fan of Hostess from their Wonderbread to Chocolate donettes !!

Remember ZOMBIELAND !!
