I scored a pair of those of ebay a few years back for $10. I think they lasted 2 hunts before the stopped working. Even if you got 1 hunt out of them for $2, not a bad deal.

I must be hitting the wrong thrift shops. A friend is a bargain hunter and has some problems that prevent him from driving so we go bargain hunting nearly every week. I have never found anything for detecting but have made some very nice discoveries. One item I purchased for 2 dollars sold for 100 dollars. Of course it was over 400 new.

Even if they stop working at some point it might be a simple fix with the wiring.

Those were the first set of headphones I had and my daughter still uses them with the F22 and they still sound great, Nice score!
