Ron and I had a little reprieve between the snow, rain and wind so we hit a large park in Auburn, Washington.
Plenty of pennies and pull tabs but most of the two hour hunt was spent listening to EMI from the buried communications cables.
As we were leaving the park I decided to do one victory sweep of my coil and I hit a ear splitting 92 on my ATP.
Not gold or silver, but not a pull tab either.
As this mud clod of a 1980 Mexican five peso coin came out of the hole I just knew I'd hit the jackpot.
Well, not really the jackpot, but it's still a darn site better than those pesky bottle caps.
