Went thursday to an area around an 1880's church where there had been some Civil War activities. I found some 58 Caliber bullets and 52 Sharp bullets. According to history there had been 40 wagons burned in that area. I went out today to scout a field that might have been the location. It has been used for a hay field since the Civil War. There is an old house that is falling down at the back side of the field and right now the weeds are too high to do any detecting around it. So I detected out in the field in front of it (to my surprise), I found a 1918 and a 1911 wheatie and a 1893 Indian Head in bad shape but no Civil War bullets. However I have a lot of field to cover, yet.

Congrats on the great finds! You found a rare variety of the Nitro Club. In fact, this might be the first one of this variety that I have seen. Congrats once again!
