I would not pay more than $1.41
As a general rule, only buy the sets that are issued by the US Mint. All of the plated or artist painted coins are nothing more than hype to sell a product at a huge mark up.

Why, there is nothing to authenticate. They are gold plated modern coins. I wonder if they are clad with 15 miligrams of .9999 pure gold like the rip off commercial.

24K Gold Plated. Might as well be 10K gold plated. It's worth only the value of clad coins. The value of the gold is nothing.
It is not even a complete set of coins! Whoever plated these should have included a Kennedy half too! 
But that would have boosted their cost by around 50 %!!!!!

Anybody with a computer can print some nice looking certificates. What are they certifying anyway?
Probably only that they are 24KT gold PLATED! LOL
