Metal detecting in York PA?

I know this is an old thread but is anyone still looking for a metal detecting partner in York? I still don't know very many places around the area to legally hunt but I do know a few. The pay out isn't that great and it's a lot of trash but, hey we're doing what we love right?

I live in Etters if anyone in the area is interested in detecting together. Etters alone is rich in history being the first settlers came here around 1731. The first house this side of the Susquehanna Is like 100 yards from my house. I just started detecting and my first metal detector is the BH Tracker IV.

Hey, my husband and I just stared metal detecting. we would love to find new spots and buddies to hunt with. we live about an hour from etters

I live about 30-40 mins from etters, a really good friend of mine actually lives right in etters....but alas he does not metal detect
