Howdy all,
I found this axe head a few weeks ago in an old fairground that dates to the middle 1800's. It made the detector sing and it was at 12 inches in root infested ground so it was a very hard dig. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea on the age of this piece. The design is different then the ones I normally see and thought maybe it had some age to it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
