Hi,
I will take my Tesoro Cibola / Laser Trident 1 (the english version to the Cibola) into a salt water beach .
I have a small widescan coil to it.
What can I expect from its performance ?
Will I have problems with mineralized sand?:?:
I would be thankful for any tips you could give me.

You will have some falsing and loss of depth in the wet sand, but in the dry sand it runs like a dream! Good luck!

Thanks Terry,
some spots of these beaches in north England are rocky ,I guess It's dark sand too.
Let's see how I'll manage to hunt there.
I will post pics ...

Hi,
my first metal detecting action here ,was at my daughter"s own backyard
:laughing::cool:
I just mounted my Laser and to test it in a narrow 7" x 7" grass patch,
I immediately had two strong non-iron signals.The first one was a 1971
english coin, The other signal is under one of those stone plates ....
I guess I can remove it tomorrow and see if there is a coin as well ;);)
