So there's this old beach where I live. It's no secret and it used to be a popular hang out place. I won't name it but everyone who metal detects in the Puget Sound knows where I'm talking about. However, I was never able to pull anything old from there...

Anyways, after a bunch of trips, I FINALLY found something old!

Too bad it's nearly impossible to figure out what it is. It's really interesting what saltwater does to coppers! Look how small and thin it is. I compared the finds to normal pennies.

I THINK it's an Indian and Wheat cent. Obviously, no years :/

Keep on trying! Just because you don't find something the first few times doesn't mean there isn't anything there.
